On Friday we went to the Imperial Palace in order to visit the Eastern Gardens but they are closed on Mondays and Fridays so we decided to walk around the palace. While the weather is hot and moist it is not unbearable to walk a few kilometers. The moats, walls, bridges and towers of the palace are impressive.
Next day we went again to the palace and the Eastern Gardens were open. The gardens are very beautiful and the remnants of the Edo Castle are interesting.
Dont miss the palace if you go to Tokyo!
