On Thursday we took a train to Shinjuku and went to the tourist information center which is in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office which has two towers which are over 200 meters high. Both have an observation deck at the 45th floor. A magnificient view for free. The Tokyo Tower is not any higher and costs money.
It was quite clear a day so we saw Fuji-san towering in the horizont.
